Ultrabond III SE Three Layer Polyethylene External Pipe Coating System
Ultrabond III SE consists of a fusion bond epoxy primer and polymeric adhesive and a high-density extruded polyethylene outer jacket. It is ideally suited for extreme temperature and soil stress conditions and is easily applied to ERW and large-diameter raised weld pipe.
Product Features:
- Recommended for service conditions between -40°C and 85°C*
- Intended for use as an external coating for buried or submerged oil or gas pipelines
- Offers superior adhesion, cathodic disbondment resistance and mechanical protection
- Ideally suited for directional and/or bored crossings with the option of individual layers modified to meet various requirements
- Press down rollers used in the application process ensures complete adhesion between layers which in turn removes all air pockets and therefore minimizes corrosion growth
- Exceptional for moist conditions and moderately rocky conditions
- Excellent corrosion, moisture and soil stress resistance
